Life Groups

Quite frankly, nowhere in the Bible will you find where God encourages us to be lone rangers.  While, it’s often true that when we’re struggling or just not wanting to deal with life or people, we choose to isolate ourselves.  Answers, encouragement and the challenge to change are rarely found in isolation.  It’s in the context of community that we grow and share in the highs and lows of life.  The Bible shows us that God’s original intent was that we would journey through life together.  It also shows us two are better than one.  Yes, Jesus came to save you by His grace, but it was also His intent that you be placed in a redemptive community where you would change as a result of the encouragement and challenge of others.
Get Connected

So it’s in the context of these groups that we believe your life is going to change the most.  That’s where you’re going to grow.  When we regularly get together with other people on the same journey, that’s where we can be known, loved, celebrated and served.  That’s church the way God meant it to be.  You may simply be planning on attending a church service at Abundant Life Community Church but you’ll be missing out on a huge part of what we’re all about.

Sgt. Eli Parker Youth Center

Sgt. Eli Parker Youth Center History

Eli Parker was born and raised in the Camden area and attended the Abundant Life Community Church from his childhood, when he first learned to trust Jesus as his Savior.  Eli joined the Marine Corps and after two previous tours of duty in Iraq, Eli was killed by an IED in Fallujah, Iraq, on the morning of May 4th, 2006.

The Youth Center that has been proudly named in his honor, serves as a vital outreach to the teens of our community and beyond.  Providing a full gymnasium, game room, snack shop and numerous other activities, the youth center provides a safe place for games and recreation.  Teens continue to hear the message of hope in Jesus and positive values are reinforced by church volunteers and staff.

Youth Group

Youth group at ALCC is our student ministry for Middle and High school students. This is an exciting time in a young person's life where they develop their own, genuine, relationship with Jesus and discover who they are in him. Our goal is to teach them how to walk out their relationship with Jesus, both in a spiritual and practical way.

We ALWAYS have fun - Basketball, Dodgeball, video games, crafts, snacks etc...students definitely have options. But most importantly we are a church designed for teens!  A relevant service for them to encounter God for themselves.  In an effort to deepen our teenagers faith, the student ministry participates in youth conferences, retreats, and holds a summer internship that focuses on discipleship. Youth group at ALCC is a safe place for students to grow in God and have fun, come check us out!
